About this project
INCODE is a programming platform for intelligent collaborative deployments over heterogeneous edge-IoT environments. It envisions the design and development of an open platform for the deployment and dynamic management of end user applications, over distributed, heterogeneous and trusted IoT-Edge node infrastructures, with enhanced programmability features and tools at both the network infrastructure level and the service design and operational level.
Main objectives
- An open and “sliceable” RAN ecosystem at the edge, including today’s proprietary IoT RANs.
- Elevated programmability and trust across all the emerging components of the IoT-to-edge-to-cloud continuum.
- Programming toolsets for application components targeting collaborative IoT node environments.
- A democratised private edge ecosystem for the benefit of multiple market stakeholders & business actors.
UWS Role
The Beyond 5G Hub team contributes to this project as a technical solution provider, focusing on leading innovations for a programming environment for distributed edge applications, and use case design and deployments.
